Lisa hails all the way from New York City and graduated from St. John’s University. She and her husband lived in Colorado for 25 years where they owned a landscaping and excavation company. She decided she wanted a bigger, more vibrant city and Austin fit the bill! After moving to Austin, she decided to continue working in the construction industry but focus on remodeling and new construction. One thing led to another and Bes Builder was born.
Lisa has sat on the board for Austin NARI in several capacities including Vice President, Director at Large, and Secretary. She also founded a sub chapter of NARI called WIN - Women in NARI. She has done all of this while working, raising a family, and getting her dream company off the ground.
Lisa and her husband, Mike, have two children - Jenny and Sam. In her free time, she enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending time with her kids! Fun facts about Lisa are that her first language was German and that she was a 2x National Enduro Champion.
Kristy is a native Austinite and graduated from the University of Texas, Austin with a psychology degree. The outdoor lifestyle and different cultures of Austin are what makes it appealing for her to continue to call home.
She was first introduced to home remodeling and building when she and her husband bought their first home through a track home builder. She loved the whole experience from selecting layouts and picking out the finishes. She began working for a custom home building company where she had the opportunity to learn many parts of the business but ultimately decided project management was the role for her. She became a lead project manager at the company and worked there until 2019 before joining forces with Lisa to start their own women-owned construction company.
Kristy and her husband, Travis, have one son, Connor, and Baby #2 due in November 2021! They also have a Goldendoodle named Cooper. When Kristy is not working, she can be found hiking, swimming, camping or playing sports (Ultimate frisbee, sand volleyball, tennis, and pickleball.)
Gregg was raised down the road in Dripping Springs, TX. He graduated from Texas State University with a degree in Exercise & Sports Science. Gregg is the proud father of a cutie rescue lab named London! London makes frequent job site visits to supervise Gregg and give his stamp of approval. Gregg’s favorite pastimes are anything outdoors, carpentry, cooking, and ‘attempting’ to play music with friends.
